Rice Cookers Reviews You Can Use
This chapter of Formula Easy Recipes is devoted to rice cookers reviews.
Every kitchen needs a great rice cooker, and since mine is on its last leg anyway, and since I'm gung ho on making brown rice taste as good as the less nutritious white rice for my family, I have a great deal of enthusiasm for finding the perfect machine for me, and for you, too.

You and I want some super benefits for our appliance dollar.
- it ABSOLUTELY must make a superb brown rice - and that's a bit tricky. Don't you just hate mealy, chewy brown rice?
- it must not have Teflon (the euphemism for which, is "nonstick")
- it must not have aluminum (not a big fan of eating metal unless, of course, it helps with my low-iron problem)
- it should be fairly priced
- it should actually fit on my counter top
- the lid should be fixed on securely in case a little one tips it
- it would be nice if it multitasked: oatmeal? risotto? tofu? barley? veggie steaming? maybe even a nice soup?
- I'd prefer a retractable cord
- Given the choice, I'd opt for brushed stainless
- it should be large enough for Sunday dinner with the kids and their kids
